Maurice Aymard has three jobs: he is a label Head, dj and remixer and runs a booking agency all rolled into one . No wonder one intervener called him “ El Incansable“: he is constantly moving.

He was Born in Caracas, Venezuela but he is a resident in the City of Barcelona since 2003 where he continued to build his mini empire.

Maurice has done many things in the last 8 years, he founded his own Records Shop Caracas-Barcelona, being the first vinyl shop in Venezuela and later on he continued to do it in Spain, physically and online.

In his own country he was involved in events productions, runned his own club and created the first online entertainment website of the capital in 1999 , where he won the best entertainment website in 2003. Besides these he had his own radio show in one the top Fm´s of the country.

Maurice Aymard also runs Galaktika Records Label. Despite its short history, Galaktika has grown into one of Barcelona most closely watched outfits, with a close-knit roster of producers including Garnica, Molder, Paulo Olarte, Iñaqui Marin and Swat Squad . With its discography now running into the mid-20s, has managed to carve out its own distinct sound in a city where everyone seems to be making music: the label’s mix of pristine Trance tech house, techno grooves and deep house manages to push dance music forward while remaining instantly accessible.

In recent years Maurice´s profile a producer, often in collaboration with studio partner such as Garnica and Oriol Benedet, has been steadily on the rise. So far he has release in Galaktika and growings label like V –Label.

Finally, Maurice is a resident from Macarena club, Play 4 times a years in local clubs like Lolita and Felini club but these days he spins more often at galaktika showcases around Europe.

Now his new mission is Otommo Booking Management , a platform that will take all Galaktika and new talents to dj worldwide.

With ears trained through years of DJ experience, Maurice has combined his many abilities—as dj, people-mover, producer and discoverer of new talent—to make Galaktika into what it is: at once reassuringly consistent and refreshingly unexpected, Galaktika is an unparalleled platform for a new generation of new musical talent.
